Eminem Tickets - About Eminem

Eminem’s career is heating up once again with the May 2009 release of his 7th studio album Relapse. The album contains the catchy chart-topping single “We Made You.” In true Eminem style the single makes fun of such pop culture figures as Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson and reality TV star Bret Michaels. Anyone familiar with Eminem’s music knows that controversy is one of his calling cards. The Detroit-born rapper and his alter ego Slim Shady have been raising eyebrows since the release of his first album The Slim Shady LP in 1999. The album sold more than thee million copies in one year, largely due to the hit single “My Name Is.” The album earned the rapper a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album as well as an award for Best Rap Solo Performance for “My Name Is.” He also won Best Rap Album honors for his 2000 album The Marshall Mathers LP, which featured the controversial single “Stan” about an obsessed fan who kills himself and his girlfriend. In a bold move to face critics who call some of his lyrics homophobic, Eminem performed the song with Elton John at the Grammy Awards. Eminem’s first number one single came from the single “Lose Yourself” in 2002. The single was the popular theme of the rapper’s semi-autobiographical movie 8 Mile. The song won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2002 as well as two Grammys. Now, following a three year hiatus in which he did not release a solo album, Eminem has re-introduced himself to the rap game. Get your Eminem tickets soon before it's too late!
